NIJAC is the Data Controller of any personal information you provide in relation to this registration or any eventual application for judicial office. NIJAC is committed to the principles set out in the Data Protection Act 2018. NIJAC uses the information gathered for the purposes of the assessment, selection and appointment of persons to judicial office and in pursuit of its statutory objectives; in respect of a judiciary reflective of the community in Northern Ireland; that a range of persons reflective of that community are available for consideration by NIJAC; and that we report annually as to our activities and accounts,  as set out in Part 4 Schedule 3 of the Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 2002 (as amended by subsequent legislation).
